When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the series, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type”; and he would hear people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that he had to at least pitch it to Ford first, as he thought he would reject it outright, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been brought into the project, which would pique the interest of other lead actors.

Well, I just finished watching it and it not only met but exceeded my expectations
When I saw it starred Harrison Ford and Jason Segal, I was already ready to watch it, but after reading all the positive reviews and seeing the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original feel-good comedy that will have you laughing throughout each episode.
