The movie is shot in a historical location
Story
A die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, Alanna Higman and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year, judged by Derrick, director of fan engagement. -After this year’s line-up of holiday-themed romantic movies to watch at home.. Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, it really is visible year-round.
And I’m mostly not a fan of the Chiefs
The locations that served as the Higman Family Store and Norma and Nick’s Barbecue Restaurant are family-owned stores in real life as well. The Square also does a Christmas lighting in the film.. For this film "live" Updates at every commercial break of the movie before this.
I enjoyed this movie
To me they are the current evil empire of the NFL. (Actually they have some really great players and I’m using the term wicked as an exaggeration.) But once again I’m facing my obsession with watching every Christmas movie on at least 5 channels. It was different enough from the norm that there might have been snow, but not snowball fights or many other checklist items for a Christmas movie.
I thought the acting was a bit mixed
Tyler Hines and Hunter King have really good chemistry, close to what I would sometimes call sizzling. The story involved me first with trying to win the fan contest and then looking at the end of the barrier. Hines was his usual steady but laid-back self.
Although King’s character had charming qualities, there was also some neurosis, especially in her total obsession with superstition
That being said, I had mixed feelings about the ending, especially after the build up to the back story. (I realize these feelings are somewhat contradictory.) As I said, not a major fan, so I didn’t recognize many strangers, but there seemed to be a few.
